The aims and objects of the Trust are as follows :
To keep alive the word ‘BOU’ – the cultural and traditional Odia name of ‘mother’ in
Odisha and other places among the people of Odisha, by organizing various events.

To observe ‘BOU Dibas’ in Odisha on January 2
To introduce ‘SHRAVAN KUMAR SANTAAN SAMMAN’ for dedicated son(s) / daughter(s) to acknowledge and recognize their lifelong service towards their parents.
To create an enlightened society for senior citizens to feel secure, confident and valued, and enabling them to live their lives on their own terms with dignity.
To provide ambulance service for aged persons.
To organize senior citizen recreation centers.
To ensure government benefits for overlooked old aged person of the state.
To create dedicated skilled young groups to attend and care for ill, old aged person, admitted in hospital or at home.
To provide mobile nursing and medical facilities to the senior citizens living alone.
To accept donations (in cash or kind), subscriptions, grants, presents and other income of the Trust Fund etc. for being utilized to further the objects thereof.
All activities financed from the Trust fund shall be conducted in accordance with the ideals and objects as stated herein and no discrimination shall be permitted therein on grounds of religion, caste, creed or sex.
